Understanding Your Your DIY Website.

What can you expect in exchange of your R3500?

• A pre-installed DIY website:
• I created the first 5 ‘empty’ pages.  You just copy and paste the content you want onto these pages.  You can create much more whenever you want to.
• I created a ‘Contact Us’ form.  For most businesses this standard form works well, but you can change it in any way you want.
• A flexible menu system that links all the pages and the ‘Contact Us’ form together.
• A basic graphic design layout, which you can choose from a few examples.  Until end June 2012, I'll include a custom template.  If you place your order before 30 June, I'll throw a custom template in.  This is the bonus I offer allong with the pre-installed DIY website.
• A reference guide to show you how to do the above.  This reference guide is in the form of video instructions.  At first it'll take less than 3 hours to go through the tutorials.  Whenever you want to add or change anything on your website, just refer back to these instructional videos.  In a matter of a few minutes, you will see how to do whatever you want to do.

Once you send the order form, I start my work.  Within two business days you'll get the access details.  Then you can start your work. 

When following the instructions in the tutorial videos, you can change all the information on the website.  You add the info that you want to tell the world about your business. 

As soon as you're ready to make your website public, let me know.  I'll then include your web address on my website. 

This system is developed by nerds (programming wizards) all over the world.  But fortunately, you don’t need to be a nerd yourself to use the system.  One of the purposes of this system is to give a user-friendly tool to people with only basic computer skills. 

I developed this system in such a way that you can view and review the tutorials.  After you followed the first couple of tutorials, your website will be ready to go online.  These tutorials will take less than 3 hours to watch. 

But I have a website already?  How do I make the change as smoothly as possible?

This is nothing to worry about.  While you keep your old site active, you can develop the new one until you are satisfied.  Once the new one is ready, let me know, and I’ll ask for your current domain name to point to the new website.

I have very little computer skills.  Is it possible for me to maintain the website myself?

Absolutely.  Let me tell you a little secret - Most web developers are no longer web programmers.  They use software (similar to a word processor and an image editor) to build their websites.  If you can use an average word processor, you can quickly learn to develop your own website. 

In less than 3 hours, you’ll do the first couple of important steps.  After these steps, your website is ready to go online.  Other changes and enhancements, you can do at your own pace.

Getting Started with A Frustration-Free Website.

Bellow there are templates (layouts).  Please choose the one that represents your company’s identity the best. 

Search for an available domain name, using the box in the top righthand corner.  Find something that describe your business and that your clients can easily remember. 

Next, complete the order form.  Remember to use the template’s number and the domain name on the order form.

After I recieved your order, please give me a call to discuss the template design.  Still choose one of the templates below, so that you can start working on your website, while I complete your custom template. 

After I received these documents, your website will be ready for you to start working on it within 2 business days.  Once I send you the activation email with the first instructions, your guarantee of 30 days will start counting.

As soon as you receive my go-ahead, you must do the first 4 changes.  That is to copy and paste the content you want to see on your website.  Secondly, you change the ‘Contact Us’ form only if you want to.  Next in line is to add your business name to the header of the website and change the Copyright notice at the bottom.  And lastly, rename the menu items according to the pages you created in the first step.

See?  That is easy.  Your first instructions will show you exactly how to do everything, click-click.
